Why Aftercare?

Trees require the right care to grow healthily and remain vital. Especially during the first years, professional aftercare is essential: adequate watering, regular inspections and expert maintenance make the difference.

 

With Flexibilitree, we take full responsibility for this care. Our team ensures that every tree in the container continues to develop optimally and contributes to a greener living environment. From Zaanstad to Roermond, your project is always part of our route.

Digital Aftercare App

With our dedicated aftercare app, all maintenance activities are fully transparent and traceable:

  • Registration of watering cycles and maintenance activities.

  • Project-based and tree-specific reporting.

  • Location data always available.

What does aftercare include?

  • Watering – carried out regularly and adjusted to the season and tree species.

  • Monitoring – vitality assessments and growth inspections.

  • Maintenance – pruning and fertilisation when required.

  • Reporting – transparent and digitally recorded via our app.

Contract Options

We tailor the aftercare to the duration of your project:

  • 1 year – suitable for temporary projects, renewable annually.

  • 3 years – recommended contract duration, extendable.

  • Project duration – aligned with a predefined end date.

Care by Our Specialists

The trees are maintained by our own tree specialists. With their in-depth expertise, they accurately assess the condition and development of each tree.

Trees are inspected on multiple factors. We monitor for diseases and infestations and ensure that the anchoring system remains correctly tensioned and secure. On an annual basis, one or more substrate samples are taken to determine the appropriate fertilisation strategy. This allows us to provide each tree with precisely the nutrients it requires for optimal and tailored growth.

Innovative Irrigation

Using our in-house developed, electrically powered hybrid ZBP irrigation unit, we provide each tree with the precise amount of water it requires. The process is silent and entirely emission-free.

The tree’s condition, root ball moisture levels and any relevant observations are carefully documented. In case of deviations, immediate action is taken. Throughout the aftercare season, you are kept informed about the condition of the trees. If desired, we provide an annual report outlining our findings and maintenance activities.

The system operates without electronics or batteries and gradually releases water. The integrated buffer typically provides sufficient supply for approximately two weeks.

This depends on the tree species, location and weather conditions. Thanks to the irrigation system, watering is often required only once every two weeks.
